American football middle linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League, Frederico Anthony Warner was born on November 19, 1996. He was selected by the 49ers in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft while playing college football for BYU.
The oldest of two sons and a daughter, Frederico Anthony Warner was born to Laura and Fred Warner in San Marcos, California, on November 19, 1996. When Warner was still a child, Laura and Fred divorced, and she was left to raise Warner and his siblings alone. Warner tried a variety of activities before settling on football at the age of seven, which he and his mother both credited with providing him a sense of belonging and helping to mold his adolescent years.
Warner participated in football at Mission Hills High School as a linebacker and started for the varsity squad his junior year. He was noted for his abilities as an outside linebacker and was later voted the All-San Diego Section Defensive Player of the Year. Warner won the Avocado East League Defensive Player of the Year award and was also selected for the USA Today All-California First Team and the Cal-Hi Sports All-State First Team.
